This invariably means that at least one, but often both, of Sarah and Me  are bumbling around in a state of semi-consciousness/zombie-like wishing for sleep. It's about 18 years since I last stayed in the youth Hostel, it's not changed a great deal although they now do food of decent quality and have a bar.
